Ogonna, stori plenti for book. We all gave FAN all the support we could muster to do exactly that, but the company got frustrated by a variety of factors. Myopic planning, in-fighting and Inflation of immediate expectations on the part of FAN, and Impatience, suspicion and greed on the part of my Nollywood colleagues. FAN is a stillbirth today. Its doable, but it requires a lot of money, time and organisation to properly set things in motion (at least 2years to grow it without having to worry about paying anyone royalty). The problem is the guys in Naija think the guys abroad are making multimillion Dollars from their movies, so they do not trust them and give them the time necessary to GROW such a new venture, a crazy one at that considering it will be dealing with many Nigerians who do things the right way when dealing with others, but get all funny when dealing with other Naijas. Na long tori be dis.
