I know some people eat okele foods(eba, amala, fufu, lafun, pounded yam etc)with fork and knife, which is not proper. So i decided to try out an experiment.
I put a plate of eba in front of me with egusi stew. The first half of the meal i ate with fork and knife. The other half, with my hand.
Alas! When i used fork, the food tasted different,as not tasted good at all! When i switched to my paws, well it tasted the way it should
So the question is this;is it only me or has anybody else notice this.
Or it is just my taste buds playing tricks on me and it does not matter what type of cutleries one uses, artificial or natural

Na traditional food so there is no oyibo behaviour here. Definitely it can never be the same using a fork rather than your hand.

My problem with eating is time. I'm always busy doing something in front of the computer where I also eat - and I need my hands to do that something, so okele hands is definitely out of it for moi. I use my trusty old fork, then I put it down to bang on the keyboard, flip a magazine or book page, switch TV channels...

Besides, I hardly ever taste food anyhow. I just eat when I am dying already of hunger - to stay alive, nothing else. Life's too short to waste on food. :)
