So I just finished binge-watching seasons 1 through 4 of this show... Brutal! I didn't know it was that good. I'm still reeling from some of the upheavals on the show. Zombie stories mostly put me off the way they are treated on American tv and films, but this is a must-watch for anyone yet to try it. Its on Netflix. Try the first couple of episodes and I promise you that you won't want to stop until you've had it all.

Now to start in the final season currently running on AMC. Hope they have it on demand. Beautifully gory show, almost at par with TGoT. Highly recommended.

The show is just bada$$, I can drop shows just like that but not this one. E sweet well-well. And you're so right... one doesn't have to be a zombie fan to like this.

It was the zombie theme that probably put me off since forever. After reading up on the rave reviews and the awards it has been getting lately, I decided to see what the fuss is about and became hooked.

If you can take the gore, the human story is fantastic. The characters mature as they struggle. That part really teases me pleasantly. I watch mild-mannered folks become monsters and then find their way back to redemption by sacrificing themselves to save others...Fantastic!

Never could understand how the plague started. I have watched the first episode a couple of times, and haven't figured it out. :rawrrrrr:

That's part of the magic of the show. We over-explain and over-think some things, instead of just moving story forward at a breakneck speed.
It hasn't been really explained, I believe. Maybe when a cure emerges, it will lend an opportunity to explain its source.

Totally. They're like props propelling the narrative. It is about fine actors playing well-developed characters situated in damn credible stories. What trips me the most is the way the characters evolve over the episodes. Everyone grows. Everyone!

No o! It's just that I've been watching since inception, but over the seasons have not understood why and how it all began. I had to go back to the first episode to see if I missed any clues.

It was time for somebody significant to die again. And that was the weakest link...
