good movie...worth every penny of the 3.99 I spent. Djansi's best work yet. I like how she took advantage of the beautiful scenery, the script was well written and the acting by the 3 main characters, there was even a standout scene from another actress that was incredible, the woman that...right after the tire scene(I don't want to give anything away). Djansi is very detail oriented. Djansi & Manso are in a class of their own.

OMG! I just finished watching this movie on youtube. My goodness gracious, it was good!!!All 4 women(Ebbe Bassey included) did a wonderful job and of course kudos to ms Djansi for a brilliant script. After so many Idumota and 51 iweka rd movies,Ties that bind is definitely a breath of fresh crispy spring air. I really don't want to say much so that i don't give it away but It's better felt than "telt". I love it!

I cried with Ebbey, she stole the show by far!!! When she finally let out all that anger, and then threw the ring, I exhaled with her. Damn, the chic is BAD!!!! OmoT at her best, I saw an actress, a true artist in OmoT, she was good too. That other girl, didn't really do it for me with this character, I kept remembering that other character she played with that haitian actor where she accidentally burns his face...I was not immersed in this character at all. Kimberly Elise, as to be expected, she was good. By far, this is Ebbey's movie as far as I'm concerned.

So that's the Ebbe Bassey I've been hearing so much about? That woman na real thespian, she needs to win a best supporting award for role in that movie.
em, excuse me o, kala. Could we not just be using the word "thespian" anyhow like this please. Nollywood only has one and only thespian and that's good enough for most of us. Thank you.
