I didnt get a chance to watch last night as planned :(
Am not going to cause I don't want to spoil it
Exactly what I thought. You this 3 times loser moron. I just knew once I turned my back you would open that your stinking loser mouth talking to other people about Ds because you are too afraid to face me directly. What a 10 times loser! Who da hell gave you permission to talk when I'm posting on this site??? From now on don't you ever open that your rotten mouth when I'm talking on this site again. Stay in your little corner where I placed you trying to figure out which side of a camera is up like you've been doing most of your life. Goddamn moron like yourself. I'll show you not to mess with me.
...BTW, shouldn't your a$$ be at a secondhand market somewhere trying to figure out what a camera is???? a-hole!!
I had to come out of ROM to respond to this one. there is no how Omot is known worldwide over Kimberly Elise. twitter following does not count abeg. exactly what crossover movie has omot done? africans know omot and kimberly elise. some africans in america know Omo t. NO american or british knows omoT. omotola has never opened a movie in a mainstream box office recognized cinema. kimberly elise has. when it comes to distribution, Kimberly elise is the star. Omot is the newcomer. even on itunes and amazon, after you watch the movie and click on the actors names, the only other persons whose movies come up is kimberly. and the one she was in with denzel is always advertised at the bottom of itunes when you watching the movie.
how then is Omot the bigger name among them? who knows her? with all due respect? her starmeter on imdb is 56,000 and kimberly's is 5000. that alone makes the difference clear.
returning to my hole.
I noticed she did look younger.
Sis can u please clarify @ bolded, tnks
Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde - IMDb - Omotola
Kimberly Elise - IMDb - Kimberly
I live here in FL, the melting pot of cultures upon cultures, I only speak of my experience with Hispanics, Hatians, Africans, and even Europeans. Go outside of Europe and see if OMOt is more known than Kimberly Elise. It's a shame that even some Africans fail to see the world as it is pass Americans and Europeans, I daresay, that globally speaking, Omot is more popular than kimberly Elise. Perhaps they are looking to break into the international arena in the area of Europe, to some Africans, appealing to the Eurpeans is the end of all end all, but things are changing, there are more players now than just americans and europeans. You mentioned 'british', you do realize that 'Britons' more than likely would not have an interest in seeing that movie anyhow, at least not as much as maybe someone from Haiti or the Islands. Kimberly is not even a c player here in the united states, she did a tyler perry and a td jakes, she's hardly a superstar as you may be implying that she is. And sweetheart, twitter followers do count, where have you been? Social network is where it's at now. How are these people marketing and selling this '$4 movie, through Twitter and other social media outlets. By that measure alone, OmoT has the start power to get more people to watch than kimberly elise.
have it your way. in the larger business of filmmaking, buyers know better. if you want to make that twitter argument, with less than 5000 followers Kimberly was verified. Omotola was verified when? 3 weeks ago. the company that's releasing the film, are you saying they took the film because of Omotola? is thats the case, wy haven't a major actor like Genevieve Nnaji's big movies gone to any big name distributor? lets be objective here and not sentimental.
why am i arguing this? Mary, back into hole. quick quick.
Apparently because you like to. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and to each his or her own!!
TIES THAT BIND!
Definitely for keeps!!! I know I'm late but I bought it after church yesterday and just got through watching it. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I wasn't as drawn to the 4th lady's character but Ebbe, Kimberly and OmoT killed their roles!
OmoT will always remain an A-Lister in my books! sport-s: What a delivery!!! And Ebbe was hot like fire!
So proud of the movie! Many kudos to Leila Djansi for doing a great job!action-s:
Go grab your copy if you haven't seen it! NOW! NOW!! NOW!!!
I just saw this last night on IrokoTv.com. Boy!! The movie was brilliant! Mama Dede (Ebbe Bassey) was magnificent in her performance! Omo T's performance was beautiful. This was the first "Real Movie" I have ever watched coming out of Nollywood! Leila Djansi, Thank you for your brilliant work. I rate this 9.5 out of 10.
