I am looking at a cream colored fabric here with gold emblazoned on it, and I have another white 'almost finished' dress....

I have worn too many reds and orange colors on the red carpets lately. Yes, I love red.
so...... I want to change color! More so, my shoe stylist is given me this wicked shoes to wear! Its cream and gold!

For me to wear it and make 'em stand out, I have wear a short dress! And y'all know I love dresses with long trains! The shoes are a beaut!
    See pic here:

I have just today to make the dress!!! Already loaded up on energy drink, scissors sharp in my hand, ready to cut!!

BUT.... I have never worn a white or cream dress to a red carpet before!!!! This one gan I am the Honoree! I should stand out naw, abi?

    NR ladies....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think cream on cream will be striking. Then you can wear gold accessories. You can do heavy jewelry too with neutral shoes and dress. Send the shoes when you are done. Thank you

Thanks dears, I was settling for cream on cream until I picked up the turquoise fabric and a crazy skirt idea came to me. One side mini, one side long....so, I stayed up all night Friday and by 7am I was done and took 3 hours nap before heading to event! lolol

And this is what it turned out to be:

gold woulda worked too, I wanted to do burnt gold, but no time to couple some piece together so I used the copper and wire plus large beads jewelry I was stringing for fun. lolol.

Had to make the neck drop that morning as I realized I could not find my nipple tape, so, ti distract attention from my cleavage and possible wardrobe nipple-peeping out,k I dropped the beads down my front. I think it worked (or at least I have not seen any pic showing my boobs! ) lololol

my dear, sometimes too many choices becomes a problem on its own gan! Like, what to wear out of the many possibilities!

Now, I have a movie premiere I am hosting this weekend.....new wahala! What to wear!!! Chai! Sometimes I wish I could just walk onto a store and buy a dress and save sewing time....but big mistake! Because I would be asked 100 times, 'Did u make that?" so.... I wear what I kake so that I can say simply...YEs

Wow. 4 is okay but you look good at this size. If you lose anymore you will start to tilt forward with that your big forehead. Lol. No worry I got a five head too. It's good to keep your weight in check. Sure doesn't get easier with age.

I might allow myself add just a tinny bit so that I can get my butt back! lol.
I really do love my body slim! That's how I used to be..... I can wear so many styles and dresses now, unlike before I worried so much about my fat arms and big belly and wobbly bums!

People that knew me before say I am now too skinny, people that are just meeting me, say I look good. My health/weight freak friends adore my new size. So, I gave up what people think. I think and believe and feel good.
About the hair, that's why I keep low hair now, I know what u mean. ..... and very large earrings too distract from the big fore head. Perhaps i will change to bang hair style, but that would mean losing my blonde or natural hair..... we'll see...#Thinking....

I agree. I am a size 8 now but I came down from a 14. It sure feels better to dress a smaller body.
You were never big though. You had a nice body before the weight loss and you still look good now. I would like to be a six but I ate fried plantains last night and I have talked myself out of swinging by the african market and getting some more. Sigh. I have this dress in my closet in two colors. I could squeeze into it now but I know I have to be at least a six to feel comfortable in it.
