FINE

This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

FIVE MINUTES

If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given 5 more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

NOTHING

This is the calm before the storm. This means "something," and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with 'Nothing' usually end in "Fine"

GO AHEAD

This is a dare, not permission. Don't do it.

LOUD SIGH

This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing"

THAT'S OKAY

This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

THANKS

A woman is thanking you. Do not question it or faint. Just say you're welcome.

The floor is open on this one guys and gals! let the writing begin!!!!!!!!!!1

I usually disagree with the idea that 'women' do these things. Yes, most women do, but definitely not all, so while it would be accepted generally, it is not accurate. I personally think a lot of it is childish and petty, and in the face of a real conflict, or to prevent a big conflict, people should say what they really mean. This generalization of women also leads to a generalization that men only respond to things like this, but i know there are men that would rather have their wife/partner say 'Something' instead of 'nothing' if there is a problem. Ultimately sha, people only do what works, so if it's working for you, more power to you, but let me be the voice on the other side saying this is not an innate property of a woman, it is learnt, and can also be unlearned. :)

I am guilty of just about everyone but not proud of it. Reading it just makes me understand why my ex was always more confused after I said fine, or just said nothing. Poor guy.

The man will always be the man - we cannot take that away from you at all. Most women let men be....and I believe because they are men that they are willing to submit to - I think that's what she was trying to say. These days - both men and women are scared of the word "control" and "submission". It's all about who God brings into your life that will remove both words that we are fearful of.
