Versatile movie director and producer, Emeka Nwabueze, is definitely one of the few that calls a spade a spade when it comes to issues bordering on the Nigerian movie industry, otherwise known as Nollywood.

Unlike some of his colleagues who often say the industry has come a long way, Emeka believes that a lot of things need to be changed for the industry to move forward.

"Yes, Nollywood has come of age, but it would have been better if certain things about the industry are changed. We have been celebrating mediocrity in the industry to a great extent. A lot of our artists have been stereotyped. Apart from this, there is need to strictly review who really belongs to the industry,” he said.

He also said that dynamism should be encouraged by allowing young and talented actors play major roles in movies, rather than recycling only familiar faces.http://www.thenewsng.com/modules/zmagazine/article.php?articleid=18210
