Not many people can tell the name Folashade Adenike Kassim from the ifa priest’s incantations. It doesn’t ring a bell.
And with a line like that, it is possible you could shout yourself hoarse without as much as getting the guy sitting next to you to spare a glance in your direction. But substitute that for ‘Lepa Shandy’ and the circumstance changes almost on impulse – the total opposite. That is the magic of the name which has overshadowed the original names of this sexy, delectable dish who was recently snapped up by some smart, lucky man.

Folashade Adenike Kassim is one of the new generation actresses. Her acting career started like a joke. She studied Data Processing at UNILAG, had a stint with Allied Bank and also tried her hands on buying-and-selling before she veered into the make-believe world of movie-making.
The exceptional role she played as ‘Lepa Shandy’ in a Yoruba flick of the same title shot her into limelight. Today, slim built and light complexioned ‘Lepa Shandy’ is happy that what started like a joke some years ago has paid off.
Now married, Shade takes us into her world, her new life and all.

. I do not claim to know anything about this program in UNILAG but it reminds me of a guy who insists he studied LAW in UNIPORT! Hear Lepa once more: I’ve been in Lagos all my life - born and bred. - I know she did not say it like that!!!! Then she continues: My parents were strick and disciplined. As I de hope say that na printer's devil, na him she come scatter everything: My mother’s a businessman. Abeg o!!!! But how SUN NEWS ONLINE come publish the thing like dat?

Instead of these so called to eradicate the problem of sexual harrasment of female actresses, they went on to ban several established stars (RMD, Genevieve, Omotola etc). These producers pretended to be saints, when in actual facts, they are wolves in sheep's clothing. I'm so annoyed wiht these producers that as a result, I've boycotted all movies released in 2005.

If its bcos of the banned stars, there are some movies that were released this year that some of them feature in( must have acted it before they were banned).
If you boycott all movies released in 05,it might end up being ur loss cos i have seen some nice movie(s) that came out this year with them people in it.(hope i aint got my dates wrong sha,i can be so backwards with movie release dates sometimes smokin: )

You're right cos some of the movies released in 2005 actually featured some of the banned stars, then I guess I'll just have to watch only the movies with my favourite stars in them. I will not watch any movie without the banned actors, no matter how nice people say it is. :)

Ah I thought it was only me, sometimes I'm like I KNOW that's not the way they talk. But all in all I like the interview, I like her a lot, and yes I like her acting. Kudos to her.

how can she say "But let me say that God is my ultimate role model". I don't believe that one. God is no role model to anyone. He could be a spiritual guardian. No one has seen God. I think she is okay but those ibon, i hope its a typo or na like that she dey speak oyibo? I don't like the Lepa Shandy movie that much, to me, it doesn't make sense. I guess she is alright.

There's is nothing like sexual harrasment in Nigeria. It is part of daily living. It is like trade by batter and for some it is their fringe benefit And it is something the victim is expected to swallow

If there is a victim, then there goes an harrasement.

Nice interview bullets or no bullets.
