They always put too much hype in the advert of her movies and at the end of the movie you would be wondering what all the hype was about sweat:

Hmmm....from what i've seen/observed so far...it seems they've been improving on the story lines/productions compared to the EMG ones.

Pls i don't want all these tribal arguments over my head o.

Why are you afraid of them, simi?Speak out your mind on any topic, please.Nobody has any right not to be offended by opinions from other NR members,as long as you do not involve yourself in personal attacks.

No tribal arguments ;) Simi, I agree with you. Was actually surprised to see this thread because I haven't actually seen a Yoruba film that I would term 'flop'...at least not a total flop but to my greatest surprise, my Yoruba film provider recommended these two

    Akobi Abuke,
    and
    Aditi

I haven't been back to his shop since then:fbreath:sport-smi

I actually slept off, slept off!!!! while watching the foolish Akobi Abuke, can you imagine! I don't even have a clue what the film was about...in fact the more I type, the angrier I get...

    Warning...watch at your own peril!!!

And it is such an old thread.Been around for a long while.

Yeah, to my surprise. I mean we all know how 'floppish' some EMGs can be but with Yoruba films, you don't really notice...either because the story carries you along or the acting is natural because no one is trying to speak 'supree' 'supree' or there is one 'Baba Gate' who will keep you rolling with laughter or anger or both. So you don't really notice the flaws.

So it was with great shock and dismay that I slept off during my ordeal with Akobi Aduke.

Thanks for the thread. Will carefully go through it so as to avoid a repeat performancegrinning:
