It's been done. Not a big deal. Granny's place is to observe how the home is run and fit in. Thank you very much. :bouncy

PaJ but what does it matter really if she also ate. Does she count the amount of dollars she puts in the account. Which dollar is his and which one is hers. Bush man

I never knew this existed. At least not in my world. All the nigerian aunts I have called their husbands by their names.....Seriously...They are all over 50 too. I guess I lived in my own world.

yep it exists. I have never asked why that particular aunt calls him chief. my mum calls my dad by his name but 80% of the time she calls him by his nickname.

...abeg..tell me which culture..world wide..have U ever seen where the husband clears the table while the wife walks away and goes to chill out on the couch after they just finished treating guests to a meal? The most I've seen is the husband pitching in a little to help clear it up but it'st he wife that takes the initiative...perhaps order the kids to do it if they're grown enough...and trust me it's not a chauvinistic view..because it's possible that they probably do things a little differently (with no kids) while no one else is there...so ..think about what you're saying..bush woman ::D

pa j, what if she's a nursing mother? and after they eat the baby is crying to be fed?
would it make his penis fall off if the husband saw his wife rushing to nurse the baby right after they eat, and he decides to take the dishes to the sink and then wash them?
