Wow, they pulled in even more of the old action stars. Lovely concept. This well can never run dry.

Of course it was. Even the casting is an overkill, so you don't need to watch it to know what it would be, but that's the kind of movie this is. A shut-brain-off-at-the-door kind. Fluff. Popcorn. But sometimes, a well made fluff is the only kind of entertainment you need.

I am a super, huge, mega fan...I went to see the first one 3 times and still own it on dvd, so you know I am seriously itching to see the second one. I really don't care that it's not that deep, cos hey, a lot of action flicks aren't and that's how I like it. No be every time pesin wan over think for on top movie jor! If dem wan make am reach Expendables 10, as long as they keep putting all my favorite action heroes from childhood and beyond, I will keep on watching!

This kind of movie definitely has its audience...people that love this probably like the Fast and the Furious series...but this is not for me. I enjoy well thought out action movies like The Matrix(the first one)...Yeah I enjoy fluff too but not this kind....when I want to watch movies without using too much brain power it's usually Judd Apatow type comedies like Anchorman and Super Bad..

You have a point Kala, I doubt if I am watching this assemblage of kick-axx-ers for a story line. I think most of us are simply excited that some older generation lunatics are mixing madness with what they know best, loud action. From what we are about to see, this sounds loudest. Great concept, if you ask me.

You are right about the assemblage of action movies stars, infact that's what led me to buy the dvd but after i watched it, it left a bad taste in my mouth...what was up with that Dolph Lungren character...first he was bad..then he got killed...but wait he's not dead...then he's good...just so they can have him back in the sequel..???

Totally awesome business plan. We filmmakers need to copy the hell outta that to keep making good money off 'dead' characters! I like!!
