What would you do if are faced with the dilemma of confronting the gory picture of your best friend in bed with your spouse. This is one of the most unpardonable things that, sometimes, surrounds us and we just don’t know what to do about it. Showtime went to town to find out some peoples’ opinion on this particular issue and these are our findings. Enjoy it.
My wife will go —John Okafor,(Mr Ibu) Actor, Comedian
I will go outside and allow them to finish first, if they still have the courage to do so. Then, as for my wife, she go carry her things comot for my house. For my friend, I’ll forgive him because if my wife no accept am, e no go happen at all.
Divorce is out of it — Moses Armstrong, Actor, Movie Director
I will never sleep with her again but I’ll not divorce her. She will have to stay and take care of the kids, if there’s any, I’ll equally not eat her food but will still give her money for the family upkeep. Assuming we don’t have any kid yet, then, I’ll talk about divorce. For a girlfriend, that will be the end of the relationship.
I will forgive them—Emeka Enyiocha, Actor
I will forgive them and if I love her so much, I’ll take her back as if nothing happened.
It will be difficult to handle —Anyamele Sam Uche, Actor
For my wife, it will be very difficult to handle but, as a Christian, I’ll have to live with it. Again, I need to find out what led to it, may be she was under duress or I’m not doing my home work well. For a girlfriend, that will be the end of the relationship.
She’s made her choice—Ejike Asiegbu, Actor, President AGN
It’s over between us and there’s no going back. There will be no excuse or apology that can remedy the situation because she has told me outrightly that my friend is good enough. I mean it is a vote of no confidence on me that my friend is better than myself so she can continue with him.
I’ll walk away—Weird MC, Musician
Life presents all kinds of challenges but, somehow, it must continue. I will walk away and never come back, I’ll equally forgive them and move on.
It’s over — Munachi Abii, MBGN, 2007
At first I’ll be shocked. A couple of things will run through my mind as to why they would do that kind of thing. I could kill them or take a long walk and never come back but I will forgive them and wish them luck, the relationship between me and them, it’s over.
I will charge at them— Iyabo Lawani, Actor, Health Consultant.
I will be shocked to find them in such act and, therefore, will charge at them spontaneously. But, later when sanity returns, I will sit down with them to reason. But knowing myself too well, I will walk out of the relationship.
I’ll walk away and not hurt them — Muma Gee, Musician
I will walk out on both of them and quit the relationship with immediate effect. I’ll not even pack my load, I’ll just walk away and move on with my life.
The stigma of the humiliation will be too much for me to bear but I will not hurt them in anyway.
What can I do, nothing — Yinka Davies, Musician
Nothing, I won’t do anything. What can I just do? Whatever it was that led them into it will be resolved and we’ll have to talk things over.
I will kill both —Elkanah Mowarin,
I will kill both of them. After all, the Bible told us that the soul that sins shall die. Love is a strong feeling of very deep affection while marriage is holy and a violation is equal to murder. You cannot love me and betray me at the same time. Therefore, if I catch my wife and my best friend having sex, I will kill both of them on the spot period.
