Na 10 minutes and 20 minutes runway times I get. Abeg just helep me compile them on one CD, make we for no get 'Break in transmission' :mrstraetz

Nigerian Hip-Hop & R&B Artists to Perform Before Thousands at National Mall, D.C.


(Washington, D.C. 8/28/06) – Nigerian Artists featured on the Green October Project Volume I album will make history performing at the 21 st Annual Black Family Reunion Celebration, Saturday & Sunday September 9th and 10th , 2006.
500,000 people attend the Annual Black Family Reunion Celebration bringing together Black-Americans, and other nationalities from across the United States and Canada.

Featured in the Roots and Rhythms Pavilion section of the celebration, the Green October Artists will showcase the unique sounds of Nigerian Hip-Hop, R&B, and Reggae mixed with traditional Afro rhythms sung in English, Pidgin English and local dialects. Attendees will also enjoy a fashion show highlighting exquisite African couture from Estella Fashions. YESS Organization will be on hand throughout the festivities to lend their support. Event Management, for the Green October segment, run by Kanalyn Inc.

The history making show will be hosted by Voice of America's Losia "Queen" Nyakale. The Green October performance line up includes: Hip-Hop artists Madarocka, SKI, Lil' Ayo (Gospel Hip-Hop), Shoboy and introducing Special Guest Rappers T & T from Baltimore. Reggae/Afro Beat artists featured are Pa J and Damask. R&B/Afro Soul artists featured are the songstresses, Tolumide, China Okasi and Special Guests Anna Mwalagho and Cultural Dance Group Les Belle D'Afrique.
The Green October Project Volume I is the brainchild of Harrison "Harry Baba " Nwozo Jr., CEO of the Maryland-based promotions company, Tribe X Entertainment, LLC. The album showcases several Nigerian artists living in Maryland and Washington D.C.

Even my peeps there sef if i call them na soso yab them go dey yab chi-town peeps. shey na bcos Washinton Dc close to u guys dts why una dey shakara. not all areas for chicago razz anywayz maybe u went to the south sound or somewhere @ the series. make dem hear say out mayor dey live ghetto. But freal chi-town peeps rocks.
