'Zeitgeist, The Movie' and 'Zeitgeist: Addendum' were created as Not-for-Profit expressions to communicate what the author felt were highly important social understandings which most humans are generally not aware of. The first film focuses on suppressed historical & modern information about currently dominant social institutions, while also exploring what could be in store for humanity if the power structures at large continue their patterns of self-interest, corruption, and consolidation.

The second film, Zeitgeist: Addendum, attempts to locate the root causes of this pervasive social corruption, while offering a solution. This solution is not based on politics, morality, laws, or any other "establishment" notions of human affairs, but rather on a modern, non-superstitious based understanding of what we are and how we align with nature, to which we are a part. The work advocates a new social system which is updated to present day knowledge, highly influenced by the life long work of Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project.

A major theme of Fresco's is the concept of a resource-based economy that replaces the need for monetary economy we have now, which is "scarcity-oriented" or "scarcity-based".

NOTE: Opposing views are welcomed, as I have added a rebuttal-film and links which aim to refute "Zeitgeist". I have personally watched all films in their entirety, and hope the viewing of these films will generate critical thinking and creative discussions.

Okay, all you atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, Zionists, politicizers, New Agers, Utopians, and so forth..(Vince, Obariba, Angelsty, Multioption, Hubs etc.)

You mean to tell me you guys have absolutely nothing to say about this?

I find it interesting that Christians have appeared to be the only people of a specified faith to stand up to and challenge, literally rebuking 'Zeitgeist'. I also find it intriguing that Part I of Zeitgeist, The Movie, titled 'The Greatest Story Ever Told', seems to generate the most attention.

Zeitgeist's sole aim, mission and purpose (through the Venus Project) is to create a heaven on earth through the use of science and technology, eliminating all monetary systems (money) in exchange for a resource-based and run society.

My examination of these films has increased my awareness and faith in Jesus Christ as not simply a historical figure, but as the true and living saviour of all universes and their existences. The denunciation of Christ as a historical messiah becomes more irrefutable as effectual evidence is weighed.

    Matt 28:20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV)

Thanks Truforia for posting these clips, I have started watching, but because they are quite long, it's gonna take a considerable amount of time, to watch, process and digest the information.
I may share my opinion later, if I deem it necessary.

Zeitgeist is old story now. This docu was on utube years ago.The furore about it also waned long ago.You joined in way too late, tru.Too much has been said already, so there is nothing more to be said. You must learn to catch these kind of docus while they are still hot and fresh.Just pick your side or belief, pledge your allegiance, and live happily ever after. The end.

But at the end of the day, it is not what or who you "believe" in that really counts, but who or what you are "being" from moment to moment, and that applies to the rest of us.

Pledging allegiance to this or that religion and forgetting humanity in ourselves is what is killing people in naija right now.
Welcome to the decade number 2 of the 21st century where nigerians are still in their diapers...

No matter how old an information of this nature, it is still very new to people who just found out about it. The first time I ever heard the word zeitgeist was from you and on this website. This is the first time, I ever had to find out about it in details. I hope I learn something very useful from it.
