I know this is an old movie although some of us are still waiting for part 3 to see just what heck it is going to say. I saw it again tonight just for the fun of it and I had to come say something. I no fit lie. I enjoy am well, well.
While it had some flaws (story flow, medical incredibility, lack of explanations or dragged out scene) here and there. It is still one of the best nolly movies I've seen because it tugged at my heartstrings, I got drawn into the xters lives and it pulled at my emotions. I had lots of favorite moments and there were lots of scenes that made me go perfect delivery (of course that I am watching it the second time and knew when to fast forward past the uncessary scenes helped a lot). I noticed a lot more subtle delivery in the actors's expression this time around. The end was quite a surprise for me the first time I saw it, but the deterioration of Oasis to the state he was at the end was quite an emotional roller coaster. I think Desmond did a great job protraying the demons chasing around inside of Oasis and how he could not handle the reality that was to become his life. Loved seeing Patience play a loving mother-in-law and mother. SDA was incredible in her role, strong first then falling apart later, it was great and RMD was well RMD, he delivered as is, his norm
I no fit lie, me really like this one-o and will love to see the part 3, if done as well or better.
From reading the first few pages of reviews, seems this duo (Lancelot and Emem) produced and directed critical decision, darkest night and games women play. I should watch out for more of their other movies. They are headed in the right direction.
