Okay I found this app
On you ipad just type in weight lose the first app with a scale is called "lose it". Awesome app. I am on 1157 calorie a day diet and I honestly don't feel like it is hard. I dont think I am starving myself unless I choose to.
I use these generators a lot to figure out what I can add or take off to make the exact meal I like

This one is for subway. I can have a 550 calorie flatbread sub and be so full.

At the end of the day if you put in your weight and stay with this plan the app generates you can lose whatever weight you need in the period of time set. My plan is to lose just 2lbs a week. It says I will reach my goal by the 30th of october.
After you reach your goal you can put yourself on a maintenance plan. The thing I realized after doing this for the last three weeks is that I am simply eating the way we were brought up to eat in Nigeria. Three meals a day and no snacking in between unless its fruits or fresh squeezed oranges. The occassional chocolate and even that can easily be worked into my 1157 calories
The other thing that helps me is lean cuisine. I have a whole bunch of them in the freezer. I hardly ever eat what my boys eat and I have learned that when I eat the foods I cook I am always off on my calculations. I still dont overeat but I suspect that I eat a little more calories that I need when I guess for example how many calories are in a ladle of groundnut soup or the smoked turkey I get from the african market. I will still eat this if I had a great week where I did not use up my calories everyday. I can afford to go a little over on a sunday.
It is truly easy and you find that it is not life altering at all. Your life goes on as usual. Also the App is free so that's a plus.
My ex also introduced me to something he calles H2Orange. His boss lost 160lbs on it. I am not quite as radical as they are but if you are dashing ouut in the morning H2Orange helps. His boss replaced 2 meals with this. Not me. I don't think it is healthy to do so.
What is H2Orange? LOL
For me I put a quarter cup orange juice and then fill up my 32oz jug with water. Even if I get hungry while on the road I drink it and it helps with the feeling of emptiness. Before it would have been 4 cups of coffee before 2pm on an empty stomach.
Also I only sweeten with truvia. Don't know why I ever did it any differently.
There is no perfect way to live a healthier life but little changes help. I have defintely cut back on caffeine, I buy most of my fruit organic, I rarely eat fried foods. I save that for my thai food. I even had the lady at the thai restaurant make mine specially. She was kind enough to let me know the quantities of all the major ingredients and we tweaked mine specially. So whenever I stop by we make it my way. It costs her less too so she is happy to.
If anyone has little things they do or they discovered that can help let me know.
