Finally saw Avatar on blu ray with some bad @$$ sound system, almost felt like the theatre. it was a nice movie.

i wasn't either. and i was determined not to like it, but it was a nice movie. i don't know that i'm going to be watching over and over but it was a nice watch.
the special effects were cool.

Avatar was very good...Slumdog millionaire was quite nice as well...Have you seen Robot(Etnaan to give its Hindi language title...its a bollywood sci-fi film, that was very good entertainment value).

Their CGI sure beat ours, though some things did seem amusing..However I just love the way they domesticated the Sci-Fi genre to their own style. Do you watch Hong Kong films ? I haven't seen any lately...but the modern ones can be quite good.

Yeah the full film is on YT and they can adapt almost anything to their own style and well. Not seen any very recent Hong Kong films, 'Shaolin Soccer' and 'Kung Fu Hustle' are pretty awesome!
