Yep! You heard it first on NR!:fing05:

.........................................................................................................................

Member of the world acclaimed gospel group, Midnight Crew(The Igwe crooners), Patricia King is popularly known for her dynamic vocal prowess and stage presence. Having been in the music ministry for almost two decades, Patricia says "Its time to give back to the society."

Her music outfit, GPK Music which specialises in events, music workshops and trainings recently birthed GPK Records, a gospel music record label which aims to serve, groom and steer the next generation of gospel music artistes in the right direction, under the tutelage of Patricia King herself.

Charity they say, begins at home, hence, we present to you, Patricia's biological younger sister and first signing to GPK Records, versatile and soulful DORIS 'DUMAH! Doris has been an underdog in the Nigerian music scene for many years, as a backup singer for lots of renowned musicians and serving in the choir of many churches. According to Patricia King: "I am absolutely delighted to make Doris the first signing to GPK Records. Aside from the fact that she's my younger sister, I chose her because her forward thinking and textured vocal orchestration is unparalleled. She is the perfect candidate to start the labels roster because she is anointed, humble and very graceful. We actually started singing at the same time and she has over the years, by God's grace, built herself into an extraordinary music minister. I believe it's time for her to start being a blessing not just to Nigeria, but to the world!"

Doris Dumah's 6-track debut album 'GRATEFUL' was released in June 2012 and is gradually finding its way into homes, bookshops and music stores nationwide. The videos of her hit tracks "Arugbo Ojo" and "Chi'm Oma" are currently enjoying airplays on major TV and radio stations across the country.

Interesting... I was thinking about this recently, how we don't seem to have role models for up and coming gospel singers... Well done y'all!
