More and more interested in these (for aerial photography/filmmaking)... now I'm gonna learn to fly them... why not?

Save up for the 'Pro 2'... NOT the 'Vision' which is already out.Need to save up for one of these...

On the Vision 2? No! Go for the GoPro, I also prefer the idea of taking the GoPro off and you can also add a zenmuse gimbal. Is the camera on the Phantom 2 better than the new GoPro? I kinda like the option of taking off the Gopro camera and using it with another set up.

Have you ever tried flying quads? Or any other RCs?Need to save up for one of these...
Never flown a Quad before but I've some experience with RC carsHave you ever tried flying quads? Or any other RCs?
Me neither; but going to learn. I'm starting with a Blade MQX since I heard they are good for 'learners'... and quite a bit 'crash-proof' lol.Never flown a Quad before but I've some experience with RC cars

Very interesting gadgets to shoot videos/movies these days. In addition to using the GoPro what about attaching the Blackmagic Camera to the Quadcopter?
Vboi! E don tey o!

I didn't want to say anything yesterday about our dear TM being an undercover NERD. She so is ;............but u still dey follow us like bee to pollen. bgrin:
VBoi, I dey. I just bin wan gii u small chance to shine with the babes.FM!!!!! Na wa o! Na ya eye be this? Where you dey hide siiiiiince?
Yes o... almost any camera can be flown but depends on the quadcopter, octocopter and so on being used... it's all to do with payload weight. Things became affordable when the DJI Phanthom came out, unfortunately it can't carry the 2.5K Blackmagic camera... It just about can carry the Pocket Cinema camera - not that good an idea as even that tiny camera is still too heavy for it; also what lens can you use?
Yeah the Blackmagic cameras are something else and now that metabones has release camera-specific 'speedboosters' for the line... the pocket camera is no longer a x3 crop but more or less a 35mm sensor size... and that tiny little thing NOW shoots RAW!!
PS - Sorry I don't know how to post images from my computer here anymore or edit the size of pics with links.
Click the 1st pic here to see the different FOV with the Speedbooster. Oh and it also 'allows more light' into the lens... how crazy is that?
There have been updates but none that let you know how much time is remaining on the SSD. I don't even think it has audio levels yet... or did the fix that one? I know the latest firmware update is what added RAW.Do you know if there is any firmware or software update for the Blackmagic 2.5K BlackMagic?
