Why in the world would you? It has seriously lame specs compared to the GoPro Hero 3 Black edition and that comes in at only $30 more! And Sony even say "Guess what? We've made it out of even crappier material than the last one but will charge you much more!"

from side to side comparison vids I've seen on youtube..I still prefer the Action cam's (previous model)look ....especially with stabilization(the feature I'm most interested in with these type of cameras)...
Go Pro 3 film look is cool, but I like the flat look of the Action cam better, will give me more leeway in post when I'm color grading.
