People still use this format?:confused: I know the cams are really cheap to get these days,but digital video formats have completely taken over from super 8mm.

Yeah. You can now use digital, but a lot of people still do super 8 filmmaking, mostly because of the film look. Plus you can always process some film yourself. Also check out the PXL 2000 http://jm3.net/pxl/

I think they are supposed to come out with a new version. Anyways it was basically a camera made for kids, but was around $100 during inflation. A lot of filmmakers use it as a starting point etc. Big fan base
