The new SMOKE 6,although in the price category as the ones above hasmoved to the working region of bigger brother FIRE because it now can play back in real time 2K film resolution,which lifts it above the rest in this category.The new version also runs on the high end visualisation workstation TEZRO from Silicon Graphics(SGI),which is a more powerful machine than theOCTANE2 on which the old version (shown above) runs.
