Aku (winged termites) as it is locally known in Igbo land is a very delicious snack. It even tastes better roasted or dry pan fried. I would eat it any day! BTW, they're only available during the rainy season. No, this is not FEAR FACTOR program, this is a Nigerian delicacy! Even sold in the market by cup measurements.
Who ate this, and why?
Would you eat it today if you went to Nigeria?

oh bless your imagination... They are termites!... And when fried = no crawly legs & no wings.
